Recently CASTECH introduced segmented growth crystal YVO4/Nd:YVO4. An undoped YVO4 is grown onto the doped Nd:YVO4 crystal by special growing technique. Such product has advantage of good thermal diffusion under high power pumping and reduce thermal lens effect.
