Photonics West 2024

Photonics West 2024

2024-01-29 11:30

CASTECH Inc. will participate in the Photonics West 2024 in San Francisco, 30 January - 1 February, 2024.

The one-stop ultra fast laser and high-power laser solutions are the highlights of this CASTECH exhibition. With years of accumulation, deep understanding of industry demands, and technological advantages, our company provides complete solutions for picosecond and femtosecond laser customers, covering Yb series ultrafast laser crystals such as Yb:CALGO, Yb:CaF2, Yb:KGW,Yb:YAG, etc; Nonlinear crystals such as LBO, BBO, etc; Optical components such as chirped mirrors, diffraction gratings for pulse compression, etc; Laser devices such as fiber-couple AOM, free space AOM, BBO Pockels cells, isolators, and a series of key core components.

As a leading global supplier of components in the field of Photonics, CASTECH will also showcase a number of new and feature precision optical products at this exhibition:

1.R>99.999% Ultra-High Reflectivity Mirror:

The 1550 nm band laser is becoming one of the common optical detection bands used in commercially available high-precision greenhouse gas analyzers. Ultra-high reflectivity mirrors are the core components of high-precision greenhouse gas analyzers using optical cavity decay spectroscopy (CRDS). Our company has developed and launched a high quality all-dielectric optical film with a reflectivity of 99.999% or more in the 1550 nm band, which is characterized by ultra-smoothness, ultra-low absorption, ultra-low scattering, ultra-smoothness, ultra-low scattering, ultra-low scattering, and ultra-smoothness.  Surface quality 0-0 in the center area and optical loss (absorption + scattering) below 6 ppm.

2. Free-form Lens:

Free-form surfaces are non-conventional continuous surfaces that do not have an axis of symmetry. Because free-form surfaces are not rotationally symmetric and cannot be described by simple geometric curves, free-form surfaces are often machined by point contact. The surfaces of free-form surfaces are characterized by a large number of scattered points, which makes path computation and correction more difficult. The complexity of the process can also be seen in the fact that, for more specialized surfaces, other machining tools are required on top of the three- to six-axis machines. Free-form surfaces are first made with conventional aspheric and aspheric cylindrical surfaces, and then shaped with deterministic polishing and ion-beam shaping, with inspection methods such as Luphscan, ZYGO, and CGH.

3. Ultra-precise and complex structrual components:

Shaped glass parts have always been a more complex class of components in optical cold processing, the difficulty lies in the precise control of the location of the details. The focus of glass structural parts processing is that it can do a variety of high-precision structure, such as the step plane alignment accuracy of less than 1 um in the figure.

CASTECH always adheres to the core concept of "building a bridge of light for the world", and keeps moving forward to provide customers with better quality products and services.

We sincerely welcome new and old customers from all over the world to visit our booth.
